Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most important questions about my services

In which regions of Austria do you work?

I'm available throughout Austria, based primarily in Styria and Vienna. For assignments in other federal states, minimal travel expenses apply.

How far in advance should I book?

For scheduled appointments I recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks in advance. For urgent requests in Graz, depending on availability, I can be on site within an hour. For assignments outside Graz, I typically require 24 to 48 hours notice.

Which platforms do you use for video interpreting?

I work with the most commonly used platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. These are the most widespread in institutional contexts and offer reliable connection quality. Other platforms can also be used upon request.

Do you also translate certified documents?

I prepare precise specialized translations. Upon request, I coordinate official certification through a generally sworn translator, ensuring documents are valid for authorities and courts.

Which languages do you cover?

My working languages are Spanish, Portuguese and German. In addition, I offer English as a working language for interpreting assignments. All language directions are possible.

How is the confidentiality of my data and conversations ensured?

As a sworn court interpreter, I am bound by professional confidentiality under Section 10 of the GISA Act. All information, documents and conversation content are treated with strict confidentiality – also after the assignment has been completed.

How do I get a quote?

Send me an email with the date, location, duration and language(s) of the assignment. I usually respond within 24 hours with a non-binding quote.

Do you issue invoices for companies and private individuals?

Yes, I issue proper invoices with my GISA number 32188035 for all clients: companies, authorities, institutions and private individuals.
